1. Purpose

gay-hookups.us ("the site") is a classifieds service intended exclusively for adults. It lets its users post and browse dating ads between consenting adults, and get in touch through the site's tools.

Using the site implies full acceptance of these terms. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use the site.

2. Access and age

The site is strictly reserved for people aged 18 or over, or of the legal age of majority in their country of residence if higher. By accessing the site, you certify that you meet this condition.

The publisher reserves the right to request proof of age and to suspend any access in case of doubt.

3. Payments

Browsing ads, posting an ad and replying to an ad involve no payment on this site.

Creating a chat account may redirect you to a partner service, which has its own terms of use and its own privacy policy. These terms are shown to you before any sign-up with that partner.

4. Ads

Every posted ad is reviewed before publication. The publisher may reject, edit or remove an ad without having to justify it, in particular if it breaches the rules below or the law.

The following are prohibited: ads offering or soliciting a service in exchange for payment or benefit; ads mentioning or targeting minors; content involving animals, non-consensual violence or any illegal practice; direct contact details in the text or photos; discriminatory or defamatory content; impersonation and the use of photos you do not hold the rights to.

By posting an ad, you warrant that its content and photos relate to you, that you hold the necessary rights, and you grant the publisher a non-exclusive license to reproduce and display them on the site for the duration of publication.

To launch and animate the community, the publisher may publish ads written by its team. They are flagged as such in the site's legal notice and progressively removed in favor of members' ads.

5. Conduct

You agree to respect other users, not to send unsolicited bulk messages, not to harass anyone, and not to use the site for commercial or advertising purposes.

Any breach may lead to the deletion of ads and blocking of access, without notice.

6. Liability

The publisher hosts content published by third parties and is not party to relationships between users. It guarantees neither the accuracy of ads, nor the identity of members, nor the outcome of a meetup. You remain solely responsible for your exchanges and meetups, and it is up to you to take the usual precautions (public place for a first date, tell someone close, etc.).

The publisher does its best to keep the site available but cannot be held liable for an interruption, data loss or indirect damage.

7. Reporting and removal

Anyone can report an ad from the ad page or via the contact page. Reports are handled within 48 business hours. A member can delete their own ad at any time using their management link.

8. Intellectual property

The site's structure, its own texts, its design and its software components are protected. Any reproduction without authorization is prohibited. Ads remain the property of their authors.

9. Changes to the terms

The publisher may change these terms at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Before any formal claim, please write to us through the contact form so we can try to settle the matter amicably.
